WooCommerce Subscriptions is inactive error after updating to WooCommerce 4.4.0+

  • 4

Hi,

After updating to the latest WooCommerce, I was prompted with the following error.

WooCommerce Subscriptions is inactive. This version of Subscriptions requires WooCommerce 3.0 or newer.

Anybody know how to solve this? It occurred after updating the database.

I have experienced the exact same issue with two different plugins on my sites. After updating WooCommerce on my two sites with EU VAT Pro and Subscriptio, both paid plugins which appear to no longer recognized WC 4.4.1 following the database update. Have you found a solution to this?

I hope someone can help me us with the issue.

    Hi guys,

I have previously experienced this but I forgot if that’s on WooCommerce Subscriptions or Subscriptio. Plugin names can get confusing.

The way I solved it was to restore the site to the latest version that didn’t issue, deactivate any caching plugin and update WooCommerce and its database again.

I hope this helps. Let me know.

Awesome, restoring the site and updating again with the WP Super Cache disabled worked. Been trying to look for the solution for this for the past week. thank u very much for sharing dear.
